On behalf of the Voices, the Doves and other members of the Music Ministry, we welcome you. I have been honored to serve as president of this ministry since its inception in 2008. Brother Scott and I are on one accord as leaders of this ministry, and if you feel you have been called to serve musically, we welcome your gift(s). I am available to assist you in any/all ways that might impact your making a decision to join our ministry. If you decide to include the Music Ministry in your Christian walk, both you and we might be blessed! And, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:6 NIV
Together the love of God and the joy of singing presents an opportunity to minister. The choir, through music and singing, sets the atmosphere for worship. Words in song and movement take away pain and give joy in times such as these.
Learn More About Our Choirs
The Voices of Olive Branch
The Church’s primary choir. The music genres include gospel, contemporary gospel, and hymns. We use every opportunity to fellowship, have fun and learn new music. If you love the Lord and have a gift for singing or playing an instrument, this is the choir for you!
The Doves
Our children and youth. The Doves generally sing during worship service one Sunday each month. Their repertoire consists mostly of contemporary gospel music. They enjoy singing and being together.
The Women’s Day Choir
Comprised of women of all ages. Some women, who do not normally sing in a choir, look forward to the opportunity to join in and sing during worship service on the 4th Sunday in October. This choir offers a great opportunity to share in our sisterhood, all while offering spiritual blessings of fellowship in song.
The Men’s Day Choir
Men of all ages. This choir blesses the congregation with creative versions of familiar songs, mixed in with some stylish choreography. The Christmas Choir
This choir is formed yearly. It presents members with an opportunity to learn and sing lyrics that are fundamental to our faith--the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Once members enjoy the experience of serving with this spirited choir, many declare the experience to be fun and most memorable.
